The Ashe County Schools Child Nutrition Program is dedicated to students’ health, wellbeing and their academic success. We support learning by providing high quality, nutritious meals and promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Enjoy your food, but eat less.
Avoid oversized portions.
Foods to Increase
Make half your plate fruits and vegetables.
Make at least half your grains whole grains.
                                                                              Switch to fat-free or low-fat (1%) milk.
